
Breakfast Squirrel
Shoot squirrels the day before.. skin and clean, leave heads on. Soak in salt
water.
Early next morning put squirrels in flour and salt and pepper mix, coat well,
put in skillet of bacon grease that is already hot (12" iron skillet with about
1/2c of bacon grease)..
drop in squirrels and cook for a while, (turn as needed.. Add water and
additional salt & pepper as needed. a little garlic is ok and maybe a couple
slices of onions)
Cook until the kids get up (about 2 hrs) Serve over biscuits with grits on the
side.
