Homemade Furniture Polish
Polish Finished Wood
Step1 Mix 2 parts vegetable oil or olive oil and 1 part lemon juice in a
medium-sized bowl.
Step2 Dip a clean, dry, lint-free cloth into the mixture and rub into the wood.
Always rub wood in the direction of the grain.
Step3 Use a soft-bristled toothbrush to get into tight places or to get at
scrollwork or other intricate design work.
Step4 Rub with a new, clean cloth until wood shines.
Polish Unfinished Wood
Step1 Dissolve 1 tsp. lemon oil into 1 cup mineral oil.
Step2 Apply a small amount of the mixture onto a soft, clean, dry, lint-free
cloth.
Step3 Rub mixture into wood until all residue has soaked in. Always rub in the
direction of the grain of the wood.
Step4 Buff with a clean, dry cloth to make furniture shine.
