Piggie Toes (aka 'Coyote Poop')

Ingredients

* 2 cups light brown sugar
* 1 cup butter or oleo
* 1/2 cup light corn syrup
* 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
* 14 1/2 ounces Chee-tos (I used the puffy ones, not the harder, skinnier ones. That's what she said.) or Bugles

***(In my trial of the recipe. I used a combination of cheez puffs and 'Bugles', and I think the Bugles were actually tastier)***

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 250. Spray a large roasting pan with Pam and put the Cheetos
into it.

2. In a heavy, large saucepan, mix sugar, margarine and corn syrup. Bring to a
boil and continue boiling for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.

3. Remove pan from heat and mix in baking soda. Stir in completely - it will turn
white and become foamy (this is why you need to be sure to use a LARGE pot so it
doesn't foam over the top).
4. Pour syrup over Cheetos and toss VERY thoroughly (and gently) to coat all the
puffs. Bake for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
5. Spread baked puffs onto waxed paper, separating as much as possible and cool
completely.

6. NOTE: If you make a double recipe, bake them 20 minutes longer.
